Tsukuba Yoga for All (TYfA/tYMC) Course (Basic to Practical Application)

Purpose and Objectives of this Course

This course is based on the University of Tsukuba Graduate General Education Course (GGEC) Yoga Course as part of the Social Innovation Project, and enriched as the Tsukuba Yoga for All (TYfA/tYMC) Course for general public. Therefore, it is designed so that anyone, from beginners to instructors of Yoga, can take it comfortably.

Our goal is to understand and practice Yoga correctly, to be calm and to aim for holistic health. By doing so, we will be freed from the biased commitment and will come to love our own and other lives. And to be free from anxiety and fear, to get rid of depression and neurosis, etc., to eliminate verbal violence, crime and poverty, and to bring about social transformation. We also aim to move one step closer to solving environmental problems through a lifestyle that is in harmony with nature.
